Lora Aldrich is a mother of 4 awesome children...Sayge, Sawyer, Silas, and Layne. She and her husband, Scott, live just outside of Bay Port, and she works as a hair stylist at Salon 25 in Sebewaing. Since before she can remember, she's been singing. As a young child, she and her 3 siblings were hauled around with their parents' band on the weekends, and performed often with them. Before she knew it, she had fallen in love with music of all kinds, and the feelings that it drew out of her...expressing herself through it was invaluable to her, and she was certain she would use it in any form to help others do the same. She learned to play several instruments including piano, guitar, oboe, flute, and dulcimer, and got involved with dance.

There was a traveling dance crew called Exalt, out of Gaylord, MI, that she performed in and was a student teacher for...she danced there for 6 years and that lead her to the opportunity to teach the dance and gymnastics for Bay Shore Camp's Jr. Music camp for 3 years as a teenager. This summer will mark her 4th year as the Music Director for this same camp, and is planning to direct the music for the Worship Arts camp at Bay Shore, as well. She has also become very involved in the T'ACT (Thumb Area Community Theater) over the past few years, performing as the maid in "Peter Pan" (2013), Cinderella in "Into the Woods" (2014), and was the Musical director for "Into the Woods (2014), Music Man (2014). She is currently directing music for this summer's production of "Honk". Lora performs vocally with her family often, and considers music to be one of the most precious gifts that God has given her. She is so excited to use this gift to inspire young people at Sparkle Studio to express themselves, and learn to love and appreciate music and dance the way that she does. Sparkle Studio is unique because they will be offering the opportunity to create dimension and complexity using vocals, dance, and acting...and she can't wait to see what it brings to the community!
